Thanks for checking out the
Arts Network Mentoring Program website!
What's it all about?
The Arts Network Mentoring Program is about giving new first years a warm welcome and a great introduction to the Faculty of Arts. It's a chance for first years to meet other new students they'll be studying with. They also benefit from all the wit and wisdom of our fantastic senior students, who volunteer to be mentors for the program.
What do we do?
The program kicks off with 'Arty Starty' Day, where we
-
link up first year groups and mentors
-
laugh our heads off in a lecture theatre
-
share an awesome morning tea
-
find the answers to life at Uni ... and everything
-
explore the campus together
-
take photos of each other in our famous Photographic Scavenger Hunt
After getting to know each other on the 'Arty Starty' Day, everyone keeps in touch over the first few weeks of the semester, exchanges information and handy hints about life at Uni, and has lots more fun together.
After 'Arty Starty' we'll all catch up again for ... wait for it.... 'ARTY SMARTY' - a Trivia Night to beat all Trivia Nights!!!
